Job Overview
We’re seeking a Founding Account Executive to join our small but mighty team. This is a unique opportunity to be an early hire at a fast-growing, VC-backed startup where you’ll take ownership of building and scaling our sales efforts. You’ll work directly with the CEO to refine our go-to-market strategy, establish customer relationships, and close deals. This is your chance to build a path for leadership and significant professional growth while making a lasting impact on Aidora’s success.
What You’ll Do
- Drive Revenue Growth: Own the entire sales cycle—from prospecting and qualifying leads to negotiating and closing deals—ensuring we meet our ambitious growth targets.
- Build Relationships: Develop and nurture strong, long-term relationships with HR leaders, founders, and decision-makers at SMB and mid-market companies, acting as a trusted resource on leave management.
- Refine Strategy: Collaborate with the CEO to iterate on our sales strategy, messaging, and processes based on market feedback.
- Lead by Example: Set the standard for excellence in sales practices, including effective prospecting, pitching, objection handling, and deal negotiation.
- Be a Pioneer: Identify and test new sales channels, verticals, and strategies to help Aidora scale rapidly.
- Advocate for the Customer: Consolidate feedback from HR leaders and share it with cross-functional teams to ensure we continuously build for our customers.
What We’re Looking For
- B2B Sales Experience: 4+ years of experience in B2B SaaS sales, selling to SMB or mid-market customers, with a proven history of consistently exceeding quarterly and annual sales goals. Experience selling to HR leaders and collaborating with brokers is a strong plus.
- Self-Starter: A proactive, entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, unstructured environment.
- Relationship Builder: Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with a knack for building trust and credibility with clients.
- Results-Oriented: Obsessed with sales metrics, proficient in CRM tools, and driven to go above and beyond.
- Growth Mindset: Eagerness to learn, adapt, and grow alongside the company as we scale.
- Bay Area Based: Ability to work in a hybrid model, with some in-person collaboration in San Francisco.
