Thinkverse (thinkverse.co) is a fast-growing AI EdTech startup founded by a 3-time EdTech founder from Harvard and a top Google engineer. Our mission is to build an AI math tutor for every student, providing personalized, step-by-step guidance and instant feedback in over 30 languages, without revealing answers. Backed by top investors, including Reach Capital and Xfund, we are transforming math education.

We are seeking a Business Development Lead to report directly to the CEO and help drive K12 school and district partnerships. 

Key Responsibilities:

Conference Engagement: Represent Thinkverse at key educational conferences to build relationships with school and district partners.
Outbound Sales: Lead proactive outreach efforts to educational leaders using email and phone.
Sales Presentations: Conduct compelling product demonstrations and sales presentations.
Professional Development: Facilitate in-person and virtual professional development sessions to help educators effectively use Thinkverse products.
Travel: Anticipate 30-50% travel during a typical year, attending conferences and meeting with clients. 

Qualifications:

EdTech Sales Expertise: At least five years of experience working with an EdTech company, selling to K-12 districts and schools, particularly through conference engagements and other direct outreach methods.
Educational Background: Experience as a K-12 teacher, especially in math, or as a school/district leader is a plus. Passion for education is required.
Communication Skills: Exceptional ability to communicate clearly and persuasively in various formats, including emails, presentations, and verbal conversations.
Entrepreneurial Spirit: A proactive, self-starting attitude with a high level of comfort with ambiguity and a strong drive to succeed in a fast-paced startup environment.
Project Management Skills: Excellent organizational and project management abilities with meticulous attention to detail.

Compensation:

About $100k / yr ($50k base + commissions)
